Uncorked bottle

Nevermind . . . just a silly metaphor for today’s prompt.

My love was kept in a bottle for such a long time
It rattled and shaken and sparkled
Fearsome little imprisoned twinkle fire work
Trembling with rage
Wanting to be set free
But like a bird in a cageling
refusing to sing out of sadness
I’ve let my love be choked to death
The flames started to die out
My fire expired and became latent
And then . . .
A touch, real love saw me through the encaped glass
Slowly my flames revived
I came to life again
The dormant volcano erupted and exploded
And the cork popped till the heavens above
It was revival, it was freedom, it was marvelous.
