My Blogging Quest

My Blogging Quest

In this post I want to talk a little bit about how I have been introduced to the fascinating world of the blogosphere.

I was inspired to write this post after having read a very interesting article titled for whom do you write in the Blogging U course given freely and enthusiastically by people of the blogging community to dummies like me.

Thus my little adventure started like 3 years ago. Before that I wasn’t at all interested in having an internet connection, and didn’t even knew a damn thing about Facebook, twitter, pinterest or any other social medias.

My days were made of potato couching while watching television and playing at being Cinderella.

The urge of having an Internet connection started out when I went to work in a customer service department that uses computer and internet, yep folks, can you imagine that a person of this decade didn’t knew any terms and techniques about the new age era futuristic extraordinary megasupercool thing that was the digital world.

A whole new world was opened for me to explore, my love for science fiction, bionic and virtual reality was..euh wait a second, I was talking about my blog quest not my digital quest. Sorry got caught in all this :), good an idea for a future post ^_^

So even I was like a century late on the use of new technologies, I managed to buy a laptop, apply for an Internet connection and learn the basic of this fascinating tool so as to be able to work from it.

That is how the beginning of my blog quest started. Armed with my laptop, an internet connection and the ultimate desire to make a decent income from home became my main priority.

But of course as we all know . . .  that path for working online isn’t an easy one—and as a new user I soon discovered that the internet was full of intergalactic monsters hungry for the human flesh, basically I soon discovered that making money from home was not an easy task at all.

The first time I stumbled on the word ‘blog’ was on a local hiring site that was looking for people who had a ‘website’.

Fortunately in doing some research here and there in the google search bar(which at that time I didn’t know the term or even what was that colorful logo doing on my computer), I got the privilege to come upon some very interesting articles about ‘blogging’ and the website.

Hence on November 2014 I signed up with WordPress and blogged under the name of  Jessa Anne Cooper (a name character from my favourite teen fictional writer in my younger days), and on the 27 February 2015 I published my first post.

For many months, WordPress was a Chinese puzzle to me, I was completely lost and had difficulties in assimilating all these confusing technical terms. So for some time I drifted here and there in search of something that would aspire me in getting the best of the webosphere, until I finally understood the real potential of having a blog.

Lovelyrism became the place where I write, experience, learn and grow while having fun.

Manifesting myself through:  Short storiesPoetryThoughts & Inspirational postsMusicBooksMovies and Writing on some serious things, I have found my silver lining that I have always longed for.

Though I still haven’t got a work at home job  . . . well, if ever some employers passing by find my blog interesting, don’t hesitate to contact me 🙂 I am actually everywhere on the web.

So even if I still don’t know what tomorrow is made of, if there is one thing that am certain of  . . . is that I am going to stick like glue with WordPress for a long time (well until I finally get a job), and at the same time continue having more adventures while reading, commenting, liking and connecting with other talented bloggers and continuing sharing the things that I love through the WordPress community.

  1. Aw, this was a really good post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to produce a really good article… but what can I
say… I procrastinate a lot and don’t manage to get nearly anything done.
